We started at Melissa’s parents house for her portraits. I couldn’t believe all the nice landscaping in their back yard! Melissa and Joel’s wedding took place at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, FL. Being my first time at this park I was inspired by all the really cool and pretty surroundings. This stone brick wall followed along the sidewalk which lent itself nicely.

These guys were a bunch of goof balls, I like this picture a lot because it really captures how silly they were.

Joel is really into restoring classic cars. He had these two at the wedding, so of course we had to pose him and Melissa with them!

The ceremony was on top of a huge hill which overlooked the water. What a cool alternative to a beach wedding! They even had a bagpiper. Way to go on adding your own style and flavor to your wedding you guys! Thanks for having me document your special day :)

Oliver’s 3 month portraits are here! I know, I know, he’s 5 months old now. But I had to hold off on posting these beautiful pics due to a surprise I was working on for my family with these pictures. Now that my family has seen them, I can post them!

Yes, this little man is mine :) Its exciting as a photographer to be able to use my talents to document his first year and share that with everybody. This portrait shows how alert and interactive he is.

I’ve always enjoyed photographing babies, but now that I have one of my own I have more of an understanding of what moms want in their portraits. Enjoy!

Baby Blake Marie is here! And she is soooooo cute!

After taking a few months off for my own newborn baby boy, I was more than happy to get back into the groove by photographing Lori and Bobby‘s new baby girl.

Elizabeth & Michael • Tampa Wedding Photography

Now that I am 8 months pregnant photographing weddings is quite different for me! Thankfully we were able to have my associates, Randy and Caroline, photograph this wedding as the lead and photojournalist while I was able to be there as a third photographer for their pre wedding formals.

Elizabeth and her girls got ready at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg, so we were able to get some candids in her hotel room then head down to the tea garden for some formals.

I grabbed this shot while Randy and Caroline photographed Elizabeth with her Grandpa. I love how her Grandpa held her hand in his, it was so sweet!

Michael and Elizabeth saw each other early so we could spend some time photographing them at the Vinoy before heading off to Nova 535 for their ceremony. As hot as it was, they were such great sports about being outdoors for their formals. Ha, its all worth it right!? Congrats, you guys!!

Alishia & Joseph’s Wedding • Tampa Wedding Photographer

Since I have been lightening up on weddings, for the summer heat and to accommodate my pregnancy, it felt so great to step back into “wedding photographer” shoes for Alishia and Joe’s wedding! What a fun couple they were to work with. They seemed so relaxed and easy going throughout the whole day!

Look at how Alishia is just glowing!

Her mom made the brioche on the bouquet, and the sash around the brides dress, as well as the girls’ necklaces! So crafty and creative :)

At the reception they had this amazing candy table full of all kinds of goodies! I thought these custom lollipops were especially cute.

I love being able to capture sweet moments like this.What a fun and unforgettable wedding. Thanks for a great night you guys!

Pregnancy Portraits

One of my best friends is about to have a baby. So when she asked me to photograph her and her husband celebrating her near full term belly, I couldn’t pass it up! With me being pregnant myself, only a few months behind her, it was crazy to see how much my belly has yet to grow!

After we spent some time indoors, her husband joined in with some fun outdoor portraits.

This is one beautiful momma to be :)

Congrats to you guys and to your baby! He is going to be surrounded my so much love :)

Lori & Bobby’s Wedding

Tis the season for weddings!

Lori was so sweet and patient. This was taken while her dress was being laced up.

I love this of them on the beach!

The trolley took the guests and bridal party from the beach to their reception hall. What a nice touch!

This is their engagement book I created from their portrait session. They set it out for their guests to sign at the reception.

Amanda & Shawn • Seminole Park, FL

Hooray for fall wedding season! Outdoor weddings in Florida are great this time of year. The air is crisp and no longer stuffy, the sun is lower in the sky, and I have more weddings to shoot :) Amanda and Shawn had a beautiful wedding at a park that is sentimental to them.

We started at the hotel for some fun girl time.

I just love this portrait. She looks like she belongs on the cover of a magazine. Amanda loved posing for me.

Cici & Alex • Tarpon Springs Wedding

Congratulations to Cici and Alex! Just after they were announced husband and wife they came running back up the aisle. Within the excitement of the guests cheering them on they stopped for another kiss. How exciting!

This bridal party was crazy and fun! We HAD to do a jumping photo :)

Tarpon Springs Golf and County Club had some beautiful places for photos. I just love this one. It seems so romantic with them being the only ones around walking on a private pathway.

Thought I’d try something fun and different, turns out I LOVE it!

During the bride and grooms first dance, they kept inviting more and more family up to join them. It was great how the group kept growing and growing! In between lyrics, their son manage to sneak a peak back at me to see what I was shooting.

Hah! The groom DOES smile!! It was hard to get a natural smile out of him, so this was a moment I had to get!

Once Cici changed into her party dress we were able to snap a few goodbye photos. I love the soft photojournalist look this photo has. Thanks for a great night, you guys!

Becky & Tony • Beach Portraits

As always, I had so much fun with Becky and Tony. This year Tony took us to a secluded beach in Tampa that had this unique rustic look to it.

They brought some wine and toasted to another great year of marriage. (4 years!)

The sun set faster than we expected!

They had so much fun together! Becky was all giggles and Tony was full of jokes and silly faces. Thanks for the fun you guys, and thanks for dinner :)
