When I arrived at the resort to photograph Nicole the first thing I noticed were these chairs. To me, this says Florida like nothing else.
It was time for Melissa to update her headshot portfolio, so we met up at UT for her session. We had a great time playing around with different poses and chatting throughout the session!
This one was my favorite headshot out of the whole session.
I had to post these two even though they are not your typical headshots. Playing around with lighting from the sun is so fun to me, and Melissa was all for it too!
Talk about a happy baby! Clary was full of smiles for her 6 month portrait session. We started with some outdoor portraits on this patio furniture. The color of it matched her cure little dress so well. Gotta love the flower on her head!
She was so happy to be standing! Those little legs are strong.

Those feet look so tiny in her daddy’s hands!
So happy with Mommy. Thanks you guys for a fun shoot!
Getting to know Amanda and Shawn was awesome. In prep for their upcoming November wedding, we met up for an engagement shoot at a new found place that’s great for a photo session in Tampa. This was a great way for us to get to know each other better, and for me to find out more about what type of photography they like.
It wasn’t hard getting them to give me their natural smiles. Seriously, these guys were this happy through our whole shoot!
Can’t wait to photograph your wedding! See you soon guys!
Yet again, I found myself in Ybor City for a photo shoot. Every time I shoot here, I find new places and different looks. My photographer friend, Caroline, and I took three models to Ybor with us so we could play with new lights, practice with different angles, and update everyone’s portfolios. Within a few minutes we all started to rethink shooting outdoors in August in Florida, but we toughed it out and had a great time!
Read on to some of my favorite images!
Summertime in Florida brings on a lot of rain, and rainbows! Two shoots in a row I have had the opportunity to include a rainbow within the pictures.
Julie and Chris were fantastic to photograph! They even offered to get into the water. Who cares about getting wet!?
Even though we had some threat of rain during our shoot, we were still able to have a lot of fun and get some great shots. Because of the clouds, we scored with some great colors in the sky. Thanks Julie and Chris for a fantastic shoot!
Can you believe the rainbow!? With the threat of rain in the air, this rainbow decided to show itself just in time for Lauren and Kyle’s ceremony.
It was so cool to see all the rose pedals fly!
Check out these candids I snagged during our pre ceremony portrait session of the bride.
What a beautiful sunset! This was a great opportunity to test out my new off camera flash. These guys were so much fun and they were willing to play around. Thanks, you guys, for a fantastic shoot!
When I was asked to photograph these show dogs for their advertisement I was so excited! I love animals, and I love playing with animals and doing anything I can for them.
Once the work was done, of course we had to let Dylan jump into the water!
Houston managed to work in some play, too ;) Can’t wait to see you puppies again! Thanks for the play time.
Judith and Jermaine’s wedding was in Harbor Island near downtown Tampa. I love it when bride and grooms have their weddings all at one place! We were able to focus more time on photography rather than traveling from one place to the other. I started photographing Judith in her room at the Westin Hotel.
Judith looked amazing in this dress!
Jermaine and his family cracked me up all night long. His dad’s face is halarious in this photo!
This photo was my favorite because it shows how happy and love they are. Congrats, you guys!
